Color, pattern and texture inspire me. My handcrafted jewelry and
home décor accessories are heavily influenced by my education
and background in silk screen printing. I have a visceral connection
to the shapes, colors and textures that capture my imagination –
my joy comes from exploring how they best work together and how
they impact my designs. My art can take on a life of its own, further
fueling my creative process.
Both of my handcrafted lines, though conceptually very different,
evolved from the same artistic origins - the technique of layering
and integrating textures, patterns, and colors. The resulting stylistic
concepts are manifested in such different creations as a piece of
handcrafted artisan vintage beaded jewelry with an ethnic flair, or an
eclectic contemporary home décor accessory made with a recycled
printed circuit board.
My passion comes from doing what I love – finding and combining
the perfect elements to create my art. I know I've succeeded when
my clients tell me over and over again that they feel connected to the
inspiration I felt when creating the piece.
